Got a favorite album/CD/8-track? I'll go with about 5 in a tie for first, including "Exile On Main Street" from The Rolling F$%*ing Stones. Exile gets the royal remastering/re-releasing treatment May 18th, with previously unreleased bonus tracks discovered by the boys whilst searching about in the vaults and in Keef's hair. (I think they found some old fishing lures from a 1973 tuna hunt in his coiff as well.) Mick says Exile is not one of his favorite albums, although he says the record "does have a particular feeling." That tends to happen when you record Charlie's drums in a wine cellar and sing about everything from getting your rocks off to scraping the "shit right off your shoes." Brill.

First of all, I really love your "Run For Cover" album and I'm currently trying to learn your solos from that album. I have so many favourite albums that I can only name the ones that I've recently revisited and I think "Who's Next" is an inspired work of genius. I frankly don't like the Stones very much and I know a lot of people will not agree but I think that they are vastly over-rated. I think the Who is much more original, writes more interesting songs musically while the Stones just rip off the old black and blues (pun intended) singers of the 50's and 60's. The way they killed Robert Johnson's "Love In Vain" on "Let It Bleed" still gets to me. Give me The Who, The Kinks even the Animals and of course the Beatles anytime over the Stones. They just do nothing for me. Peace.
